Whilst this home was only 14 years old it was tired and in need of a fresh new modern look and that’s exactly what architects McCarthy Lopreiato designed for their clients.
This renovation included reconfiguring the existing spaces to include a new ensuite and walk in robe to the master bedroom, creating a kids room / study space and extending the existing open plan living / kitchen / dining area.
A new kitchen with stunning printed glass splashbacks was installed along with cabinetry in the dining area and kids / study space. New timber floors were laid and double sliding doors now open onto a deck with a fabulous outdoor kitchen. The deck has been constructed using Hybrideck, a composite decking that is made from recycled wood and plastic materials.
This outdoor entertainment space has a translucent polycarbonate roof making it perfect for use all year round. Overlooking a new swimming pool this is a lovely relaxing space. The new louver screen along the back fence not only provides privacy but is a real feature in the space now.
